Legionnaires' kills two in Madrid

Two people have died and 29 made ill by an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease in Madrid.

The city health department said yesterday that more than 230 air conditioning systems in the capital had been inspected to try to locate the source of the outbreak.

Two men have died from the disease, one last week and the other on Sunday.

Of the 29 people being treated, 21 are in hospital.
