Many remember Christmas but far fewer people remember Easter.
Only the fact that they eat Easter eggs and have a day off work.
But the truth is it is the most important period of the Christian year and what we should remember is what Jesus did.
He died on a cross for us all, sinners and all – yes, every one of us – so we could have direct contact with God and our past sin will be forgiven, paid for now and in the past and the future.
Many don’t think of it that way.
Visit a church at Easter time and say thank you to both God and Jesus for this act towards us and can change our lives for evermore.
