Life's a beach for Rising Damp star Don Warrington
A STAGE at West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds has been transformed into a corner of a Trinidad beach for the play Rum and Coca Cola.
The director, former Rising Damp star Don Warrington, is pictured rehearsing a scene with Marcel McCalla (Slim) and Victor Romero Evans (Professor).
It is Trinidad-born actor Mr Warrington's first play as director and tells the story a former Calypso King and his young protege.
