Line-up revealed for Live at Leeds festival

There’s no place she’d rather be - and songstress Jess Glynne is set to get music fans across the city rocking with the return of Live at Leeds.

The chart-topper, who stormed onto the music scene with an appearance with Clean bandit, is set to play at the festival which returns for its 10 year anniversary.

She will be joined on the bill with pop sensation Circa Waves and indie legends We Are Scientists for the festival which takes place on April 30 next year.

Rat Boy, Clean Cut Kid and Barns Courtney have also been revealed to play the festival which will see hundreds of music fans flock to the city centre.

And to mark the milestone anniversary the team at Live at Leeds have joined forces with Leeds Digital Festival.

Lead booker Andy Smith said: “2016 will be the tenth year of booking Live at Leeds, it feels like a great achievement to have grown what was originally a four venue bill to what it is today.

“We have seen some great names grace our stages over those ten years and I’m really looking forward to next year and what will hopefully be our biggest event yet.

“It really feels like we are stepping up another level.”

The Leeds Digital Festival will take place in the five days prior to Live at Leeds.

Festival director Colin Oliver said: “Leeds has an entire city full of digital talent and it makes so much sense to combined the festivals.

“Other festivals across the world have successfully done this, with SXSW being the most famous. 2016 is the year Live at Leeds reaches a wider audience.”

More names for Live At Leeds and further details on the digital programme will be revealed soon.
