Line-up set forfestive concert

The line-up has been finalised for a Grand Christmas Concert taking place in Otley on Saturday 11th December in the Wesley Hall at Otley Methodist Church at 7.30 pm.

The principal performers will be Otley Brass Band along with Wharfe Brass. Also performing will be two teenage singers who are protgs of the local soprano Joanne Dexter from Burley in Wharfedale who has performed with Opera North. They are Katherine Ormandroyd and Tom Martin, both students at Woodhouse Grove School.

There will also be Christmas readings during the concert. Town Mayor, Councillor Ray Smith, will read one of these.

Because of building work in the Church Sanctuary the event is being held in the Wesley Hall on Boroughgate, with admission by ticket only. These are now available at 6 for adults and 3 for children.
