LABOUR has been warned it has “no God-given right to exist” by the MP looking to be its first female leader.

He said Labour under Ed Miliband had been “spectacularly monochrome” in contrast to the “glorious technicolour” of the SNP and the “quirkiness” of Ukip.

Bassetlaw MP Mr Mann said his “manifesto for victory” would “colour in the blank spaces in our picture”.

Mr Mann is also being mentioned as one of the potential candidates to lead the influential Home Affairs Select Committee, though it is thought Keith Vaz will seek to be returned to the job.
