Local beer festival raises the roof

A BEER festival is to be held at the Old School Rooms in Haworth.

The Haworth Beer Festival will raise funds for an appeal in Haworth to carry out restoration work on the parish church roof and includes a corporate charity auction for Manorlands Hospice.

The Old School Rooms were built by Patrick Bronte in 1832. Still owned by the Church of England, the building has served the people of Haworth for over 170 years, originally as a Sunday School.
