Lorry crash closes A65 in North Yorkshire
A SERIOUS crash between two heavy goods vehicles has led to the closure of the A65 near Settle, North Yorkshire.
The drivers of the HGVs have been airlifted by helicopter to Leeds General Infirmary.
Police said the road was likely to be blocked for some time.
The accident happened near Long Preston at around 11.50 this morning.
Emergency services are at the scene.
