Magical get-together
MAGICIANS from across the globe will descend on a Yorkshire seaside resort next month to show the tricks of their mysterious trade.
The Northern Magic Circle has organised its annual conference at the Scarborough Spa which will be attended by performers from as far afield as America and Australia. More than 200 amateur magicians are due at the event on April 16 and 17.
There will be two public shows – a children’s performance on the Saturday and the grand final on the Sunday evening.
The Spa’s adjoining Grand Hall is undergoing a £6.5m upgrade.
