Man, 29, dies after being hit by car in South Yorkshire
The incident saw a black Vauxhall Corsa and a black BMW 520d, which were both travelling towards Hexthorpe, Doncaster, collide on Balby Carr Bank on Saturday at around 5.45am.
After the cars collided, the BMW hit pedestrian Darren Cunningham.

Hide AdMr Cunningham was taken to the Northern General Hospital, in Sheffield, in a critical condition following the crash but died from his injuries on Thursday morning.
South Yorkshire Police have released a statement from his family. It reads: “Darren will be missed by everyone who knew him.
“His girlfriend and his family would like to say thank you to his many friends and the wonderful staff at Northern General Hospital for their overwhelming kindness and support over the past week.”
The 44-year-old male BMW driver, who was arrested on suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit, and a 27-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries. The driver was bailed pending further enquiries.

Hide AdA 47-year-old woman driving the Corsa and two passengers, a man and a woman, suffered minor injuries.
