Man, 37, charged with Sheffield woman's murder

A 37-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in Sheffield.

22-year-old Leigh-Anne Mahachi who was murdered in a property on Spotswood Close, Gleadless Valley, Sheffield

Tapiwa Furusa, of Leonard Place, Clarendon Way, Colchester, was charged last night with the murder of Leigh-Anne Mahachi, 22.

Furusa has been remanded into custody and will appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court this morning.

Police were called to Spotswood Close, Gleadless Valley, at around 8.15am on Tuesday, following reports Leigh-Anne had been injured. She was taken to hospital but died a short time later as a result of multiple stab wounds.
