Man accused of pub killing

A MAN accused of killing Robert Wilson, from Leeds, at the Skyrack pub in the city appeared in court yesterday.

Christopher Perry, 25, of Shadwell Walk, Moortown, Leeds, is charged with manslaughter and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Mr Wilson, 44, of West Park, Leeds, had been in the Skyrack, Headingley, for the England v USA World Cup game on June 12. Perry was remanded in custody when he appeared before Leeds magistrates yesterday. He is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on July 8.

Six other defendants, all accused of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, also appeared in court. They were granted bail.
