Humberside Police were made aware of internet activity linked to a specific e-mail address belonging to Riddiford-Bell.

The subsequent investigation uncovered online communication and sharing of images with Esnee, who was arrested in May 2015.

Detective Constable June Sarel from the Internet Sex Offences Team, said: “Police across the country are committed to identifying and prosecuting people who make, distribute and possess indecent images of children.

“Their abhorrent fascination leads to the exploitation of young and vulnerable children.

“I hope this successful conviction serves as a warning to other offenders that they can and will be identified and face justice for their crimes.”
