Man arrested after baby dies in hospital
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a one-month-old baby girl.
The baby, from Plymstock, Plymouth, died on September 24 having been admitted to the city’s Derriford Hospital the previous evening.
Yesterday police said the man, who is also from the Plymstock area, was in custody awaiting interview by detectives.
A police spokesman said other lines of inquiry were also being followed.
