Man assaulted by group during robbery in Hull

A man was assaulted by a group of robbers in Hull.

The attack happened on February 4, between 4.30pm and 5.15pm while the victim, a 30-year-old-man was walking on the boulevard near Anlaby Road.

He was approached by a group of four men, who tried to sell him a pay-as-you-go sim card.

The victim gave them money and ran away, before being grabbed by one of the men.

The group then assaulted him.

A police spokesperson said: "The victim was kicked and punched to his head and body in the indecent and had his wallet and phone stolen."

The suspects are all described as white. One was 6ft 2ins tall, of large build, wearing a bandanna and was around 35-years-old.

Another was 5ft 9ins tall, of average build, and around 32 years-old.

The third man is described as 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky build and was wearing a cap.

The final suspect is 6ft 2ins tall, of slim build, with short ginger or blonde hair.
