Man assaulted by youths on bikes in York
Police are seeking witnesses to an assault in York in which a man was attacked by youths riding bicycles.
The victim, aged in his 30s, suffered head injuries in the attack as he walked his dog along Crombie Avenue near Lady Mill Garth in the Clifton area of the city at 6.30pm last Wednesday (January 11).
Three youths wearing dark tracksuits were involved in the incident.
The ringleader is described as a white male, aged 15-16, with short dark hair and dark eyebrows.
Anyone with any information about the assault is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police via 101.
