Man badly hurt inclash outside club
A man aged 30 suffered serious head injuries as an incident inside a nightclub spilled out onto the street.
The victim was taken to Sheffield’s Royal Hallamshire Hospital after police were called to the Escapades nightclub in Cavendish Street, Chesterfield, at 11.30pm on Saturday.
Officers said there had been an “altercation” inside the venue earlier, which then led to a second incident outside in which the man was seriously hurt. He was yesterday stable in hospital.
