Man burned in chip pan fire
A man was left with burns to his legs, hand and face after a chip pan fire at his flat in Burley-in-Wharfedale last night.
The incident was reported just before midnight on Langford Road - fire engines from Ilkley and Rawdon attended but found the fire out on arrival. A spokesman said the man was taken to hospital.
