Man charge with arson after Addingham pub fire

A MAN will appear in court today charged with arson after a fire at an Addingham pub.

Two men were rescued from the blaze, which broke out at The Fleece at 4.10am on Wednesday.

West Yorkshire Police have charged a 33-year-old Addingham man with arson is due to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court today.

The rescued men were treated by ambulance staff for smoke inhalation before being taken to hospital.

In total, six pumps and an aerial platform from Silsden, Ilkley, Skipton and surrounding stations attended the fire, which involved 60 per cent of the building over two floors.
