Man charged after police officer attacked in Bradford

A MAN who was arrested after a police officer was attacked in Bradford has been charged.

The 34-year-old man has been charged with two counts of criminal damage, assault and dangerous driving.

The male officer was not seriously injured but was taken to hospital for treatment after the incident in Grantham Road, Great Horton, on Wednesday morning.

It is understood the West Yorkshire Police traffic officer had to have stitches to an injury near his eye.
