Man charged with his mother's murder
A 35-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering his mother at her home in Bradford.
John Mahannah, from Sierra Leone, is charged with killing 58-year-old Maria Nuni, who died after an attack in West Bowling on Friday. It is believed she had suffered stab wounds.
Makannah was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Bradford Crown Court next Monday.
