Man charged over '˜666' vandalism in East Yorkshire graveyard
A man is due to appear in court after a large symbol and '˜666' were marked out on the grass in the graveyard of an East Yorkshire church.
Police were called to All Saints Church in Burstwick on Sunday after reports of vandalism.
The numbers marked out – 666 – are described as ‘the number of the beast’ in the New Testament and are widely recognised as symbols for the devil.
