Man in court over Leeds war memorial 'outrage'

THE case of a man accused of urinating on a war memorial was adjourned today.

Ian Marshall, 49, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court charged with outraging public decency.

He was charged with the offence after police were called to a report of a man urinating on the memorial in Headingley, Leeds, on November 27.

Today, the case was adjourned until January 26.

Marshall, of Gill Lane, Leeds, was granted unconditional bail to appear before the same court on that date.
