Man dead in flat fire in Sheffield
A man has died following a fire at a block of flats in Sheffield.
The man, aged in his sixties, was found dead in the fifth floor flat on Martin Street after neighbours raised the alarm at around 6pm today.
No-one else lived at the property, although other flats were evacuated as a precaution.
Five fire engines and a turntable ladder attended the incident. An investigation is under way into the cause.
