Man dies in Leeds house fire
A middle-aged man has died after a fire at a first-floor flat in Leeds in the early hours of today.
Police and fire service personnel were called to the scene at 2.42am.
The cause of the blaze at the property in Brooksbank Drive, Halton, was
thought to be a halogen heater which may have been placed too close to furniture.
Police said there were no indications of suspicious circumstances.
