Man found deadnext to quad bike
A man aged 68 has been found dead next to a red Honda quad bike in a field near the former Scarborough to Whitby railway line, between Cloughton and Hayburn Wyke, near Scarborough.
The body was found at 9.50pm on Thursday by police who have appealed for anyone who saw the man riding the bike to contact Constable Paul Merritt on 0845 6060247. Police said the man was local and the death was being treated as an accident.
