A man going extra mile for families running up debts

John Kirkby has been running 15 marathons in three countries with the aim of raising more than £1m for the charity he founded 15 years ago in Braford, Christians Against Poverty.

With travelling times to the different countries the challenge will take him 19 days but the marathons were on consective days where possible and included Edinburgh, Newcastle, Nottingham, London and Bradford in the UK, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney in Australia and Whangerei, Christchurch, Hawkes Bay, Waikato, and Auckland in New Zealand.
