Man held after girl savaged by dog
A four-year-old girl was treated for serious facial injuries after she was bitten by a pit bull-type dog.
She was attacked at a neighbour’s house in Croxteth, Liverpool. Dog owner, Peter Shearon, 28, was arrested and bailed, charged with possession of a prohibited dog. The animal was destroyed.
