Man held over ‘stolen’ car trail of destruction

A MAN has been arrested after a suspected stolen car left a trail of damage before crashing into a detached house in Bradford.

A silver BMW crashed into a parked blue Volkswagen car before hitting a house on Reevy Road, Bradford, at 3am on Saturday.

Police believe the car had been stolen from a house in Halifax earlier in the evening.

An 18-year-old Halifax man was arrested on suspicion of burglary after receiving treatment for a head injury at Bradford Royal Infirmary. No-one else was injured but structural damage was caused to the house, with the BMW, Volkswagen, a blue Vauxhall Zafira and a black Peugeot also damaged.
