Man involved in Scunthorpe crash dies in hospital

A man involved in a crash in Scunthorpe last week has died in hospital.

Paul Kirkby, 46, suffered serious injuries in the collision on the A1029 Winterton Road, Scunthorpe. shortly after 6pm on Sunday, February 12.

He was driving a silver BMW M6 which left the road and collided with a fence in the crash and was taken to hospital.

Police said today Mr Kirkby, from Scunthorpe, died in Hull Royal Infirmary on Thursday, February 23.

Police enquiries into the collision are ongoing and anyone with information who has not spoken to police is asked to call 101, quoting log number 446 of 12 February 2017.
