Man missing in Halloween fancy dress

Police last night issued an urgent appeal for help tracing a missing man from South Yorkshire they fear could be at risk of harming himself.

Christopher Akers, 22, of Castledine Gardens, Wincobank, Sheffield, was last heard from when he was at the junction of Meadowhall Road and Jenkin Road in the Wincobank area at 1.45am early yesterday.

Police described him as 5ft 9in, of big build, with short mousey brown hair.

He also has a Sheffield Wednesday football club tattoo.

At the time of his last sighting, he was wearing a Halloween costume consisting of black trousers, a black shirt, a red cape and red tie.

Mr Akers or anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to urgently contact South Yorkshire Police by telephoning 0114 220 2020.
