Man pushed into car during "suspicious incident" in Leeds

Detectives in Leeds are appealing for information about what they described as "a suspicious incident" in a Leeds suburb.

Police received a report of a man who appeared to have been pushed into a car by four men in Dulverton Close in Cottingley at about 12.30am this morning (Thursday).

The small black car then drove off down Dulverton Close.

Detective Inspector David Roberts, of Leeds District CID, said: "Whatever happened between these males caused enough concern for someone to contact the police.

"I would appeal for the man who was seen getting into the car to come forward and reassure us that he is safe and well.

"I would also ask for anyone who may have seen a small black car in the area at around that time or anyone who knows the identity of those involved to contact police."

The suspects seen bundling the man into the car were described as white men.

Anyone with any information should call Leeds District CID on 101, quoting crime reference 77 of March 22.
