Man seriously hurt in attack at house
Detectives are investigating a "targeted attack" at a house in Sheffield which left a 38-year-old man with serious injuries.
Two men wearing balaclavas entered the property in Derby Street, Heeley, at 12.50pm on Sunday and assaulted the man before leaving in a silver car.
The victim was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. A police spokesman said: “Officers believe this to be a targeted attack. However, the motive is unclear ”
