Man sexually assaulted in Skipton nightclub toilet

A REVELLER at a Skipton nightclub was subjected to a “serious sexual assault” in a cubicle of the venue’s toilet in the early hours of Sunday.

Police say people may have taken photos or video shortly after the attack on the man at 3am at Strata nightclub.

Officers from North Yorkshire Police want to speak to a man who alerted door staff to the incident in a cubicle in the male toilets.

And any of the people who made recordings are also being asked to come forward.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently on police bail while further enquiries are carried out.
