Man shot in legs near children’s play area

The 26-year-old suffered injuries which are not life threatening.

It happened at 7.43am on Monday in Ryan Street, West Bowling, Bradford.

Chief Inspector Damien Miller said: “This latest incident will understandably have generated a considerable level of concern among the community and we have been offering our support and reassurance.

“The issues raised by residents in relation to drugs and anti-social behaviour are firmly on our radar with a significant amount of work already taking place to address it.”

Police are seeking witnesses.
