Man suffers head injury during violent incident in York

The incident left a 21-year-old man with a head injury and took place near the allotments in Scarcroft Road, York, on Monday at around 6.35pm.

He was taken to York District Hospital by ambulance and has since been discharged.

A 25-year-old man was arrested the same day and has been bailed by North Yorkshire Police.
