Man wanted by Leeds police after two women assaulted in city centre

Police want to trace the man pictured in these CCTV images after two women were assaulted on a night out in Leeds.

They said one of the victims was punched by the man during an argument in Lower Briggate in the city centre.

The 24-year-old woman was left with a fracture to her cheekbone.

Her friend, also 24, was assaulted as well and suffered bruising and swelling to her face and hand.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The suspect was with a woman who is shown in the images and who officers also want to identify as someone with information that can assist the investigation."

The assaulted happened in the early hours of Sunday, April 23.
