Man wanted over assaults on girls

In the most recent attack on Monday, a 13-year-old girl was walking with friends through a new housing estate in Gliwice Way, Intake, when a man approached the group from behind and touched the girl’s chest before running off.

In the first incident on Monday, April 15, a girl aged 14 was walking home from school along Cromer Road when a man asked her for directions. He touched her chest inappropriately before running off.

Two days later a 12-year-old girl claimed a man touched her chest before running off while she was walking home from school with a friend through Clayfields Industrial Estate.

The same man is thought to have struck again the next day when a girl aged 12 had her chest touched by a man in Montrose Avenue, Intake, who then ran off.

The suspect is aged between 20 and 40, about 5ft 9in tall, has dark, slicked-back hair and was wearing dark sunglasses.
