Man’s body discovered in house
AN INVESTIGATION has begun after a man’s body was found at a house on the Parson Cross estate in Sheffield early yesterday.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said yesterday: “At around 4am this morning, Sunday, 15 July, officers on patrol in the Parson Cross area of Sheffield attended an insecure house on Lindsay Avenue and discovered the body of a man inside.
“The man is believed to be about 50 years old.
“South Yorkshire Police are currently investigating the circumstances of his death.”
The man was not named yesterday, however further details of the circumstances surrounding his death are expected to be released by South Yorkshire Police later today.
