marry me: Sailor comes home with a proposal

YORK sailor Aron Stoker had a more pressing reason than most to disembark from HMS St Albans yesterday after six months at sea. The 23-year-old Able Seaman proposed to his girlfriend Hannah Reeson immediately after the Type 23 frigate returned to Portsmouth from its most recent tour of duty. After AB Stoker went down on one knee, Miss Reeson said: “I’m speechless. It’s all very emotional. I didn’t know it was going to happen at all, I’m very shocked.
