Matildas waltz in at Dahl home

The hut where Roald Dahl penned some of his best-loved stories has been visited by one of the author's own creations – Matilda.

Three actresses who will share the role of the schoolgirl with supernatural powers in the Royal Shakespeare Company's forthcoming musical took a peek at Dahl's Buckinghamshire home

Josie Griffiths, 10, and 11-year-olds Adrianna Bertola and Kerry Ingram also saw the writing hut where the author penned many of his books, including the 1988 novel Matilda.
