They will then ask permission from the Lord Mayor, Coun Naveeda Ikram, to parade through the city.

The route will take them up Sunbridge Road, along Kirkgate, down Cheapside and along Market Street finally returning back to Centenary Square.

Once back in the Square, the Bridgewater Fire Department Band will perform a free 45-minute concert for everyone to enjoy.

The Lord Mayor said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to welcome the Bridgewater Fire Department Band to Bradford and I would urge everyone to come along to Centenary Square to enjoy the music and to support the fire-fighters from Canada and West Yorkshire.”
