Campaigners fighting to stop a disused Victorian school being turned into student flats have won a partial victory.

Senior councillors in Leeds yesterday agreed to meet members of the Royal Park Community Consortium to discuss the future of the Royal Park school in Hyde Park.
The consortium wants to take over the school and create a community centre.
