Milk campaign gets a kick in the right direction

Former footballer turned Hollywood star Vinnie Jones is the latest face of a campaign to promote milk.

Jones, who has starred in films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Gone In 60 Seconds, will sport a white moustache for advertisements that are due to appear for the first time today.

The campaign aims to convince consumers that milk with less than 2 per cent fat is a healthy choice for the whole family.

Jones commented: “As a footballer I used to look after myself, but even since I retired from professional sport I’ve always tried to stay in shape.”

Jones also presents online videos as an unlikely agony uncle, covering topics such as relationship break-ups and healthy eating.

Other celebrities involved in the campaign include F1 driver Jenson Button and chef Gordon Ramsay.
