Minister set to rule on 'legal highs'
A decision on whether to ban the group of so-called legal highs that includes mephedrone will be made early next month, Home Secretary Alan Johnson has said.
The Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs will make a recommendation in March.
He said the Council, which advises Government on drug-related issues, was treating the issue as an “absolute priority”.
