The secondary school team challenge was won by Cockburn High School and the primary school winner was St Paul's RC Primary.

Patients and staff from the children's X-ray unit at Leeds General Infirmary also took part.

Money raised for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal will help pay for the refurbishment of the children's waiting area in the paediatric x-ray and ultra sound department at LGI.

Zoe and her family were fundraising for both the paediatric X-ray and ultrasound department and the children's heart surgery ward at LGI.

Yesterday's children's run was staged in conjunction with the Leeds Half Marathon event.
