More help needed over attack
But detectives say they are still waiting for vital information that could lead them to the person responsible.
Dominic Conlan, 56, remains seriously ill in hospital with head injuries after being savagely attacked at his home in York, more than three weeks ago.

Hide AdNorth Yorkshire Police, who have launched an attempted murder inquiry, said his injuries were so severe he may never recover.
Last week, members of Mr Conlan’s family, speaking outside Leeds General Infirmary where he is being treated, made an emotional appeal for help tracing those responsible. As a result around 20 people called police.
On Saturday, between 1am and 3pm, officers stopped pedestrians and motorists in The Groves area, of York, where Mr Conlan lives, to see if they could help the investigation, and more than 2,700 people have responded to a North Yorkshire Police Facebook appeal for witnesses.
Further forensic examinations have also been conducted at Mr Conlan’s flat in March Street.

Hide AdDet Insp Adrian Gathercole, of York CID, said: “Despite our extensive investigations and appeals for information we are still missing the crucial information that will lead us to whoever inflicted Mr Conlan’s horrific injuries.”
Police believe Mr Conlan allowed a number of people into his home before he was attacked in the early hours of Saturday, January 8. They have made a number of arrests and a number of people are on police bail.
