Mother charged as man killed by car
A woman appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder of a man who died under the wheels of her car.
Naomi Myers, 21, from County Durham, faced a judge at Newcastle Crown Court charged with killing Shaun Dalby, 28, in the early hours of Tuesday. The mother of two is alleged to have struck Mr Dalby when behind the wheel of her Fiat Punto. He was certified dead at the scene. Myers entered no plea and the case was adjourned until April.
