Mother quizzed over deaths of two young sons

Shelly Adams, 26, from Southampton, was on bail in connection with the death of her elder son Bradley, who died aged four in April last year.

When she went to police to answer bail on Tuesday she was arrested again, in connection with the death of two-year-old Jayden, who died in January last year.

She was believed to be in police custody in Hampshire yesterday

Miss Adams was arrested on suspicion of the murder of Bradley – who had been found unconscious at home – when his life support machine was switched off in hospital after he failed to respond to treatment.

The circumstances of how Jayden died are not known post-mortem examinations at the time reportedly could not determine the cause of death of either boy.
