Mother's come home plea to her missing son

A MOTHER is desperately waiting for news from her missing son.

Patricia Beadleson returned home to Hull after a week's holiday to find her 46-year-old son Steven had gone missing. His car was later found abandoned on Beverley Westwood.

Mr Beadleson, a self-employed painter and decorator, has gone missing before, and there's a possibility he may have a tent with him.

Mrs Beadleson said her son had been feeling poorly lately after two bouts of a stomach bug.

She said: "His girlfriend is as distraught as I am. We just want him home and looked after."

She added: "What is keeping me going is that fact that he went missing before (in Bristol where he'd been a student) and he survived six weeks with very little money in his pocket and he managed to survive, he just survived living rough."

Mr Beadleson was last seen by a neighbour on Monday, June 21. Police believe he was in the Scarborough area on Wednesday June 23, but don't know whether he went to Beverley first or vice-versa, where his car was found locked the same day.

Mr Beadleson is 6ft, medium build and has hazel eyes and short dark brown hair. It is not known what he was last wearing
